Govt Approves Oil Palm Cultivation in Assam’s Tea Estates to Tackle Industry Woes

To revitalize Assam’s struggling tea industry, the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has agreed to extend the National Mission on Edible Oils – Oil Palm (NMEO-OP) scheme to tea estates in the state.
