MISSION

The prime objectives of the Association include the following:-

  • To promote, encourage, and support Indian food processing industries while raising technical standards, product quality, and safety to global benchmarks.
  • To actively contribute to the development of science and evidence based quality standards and food safety standards and protocol measures under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 in India.
  • To address challenges faced by the industry and support its growth and development.
  • To conduct workshops, training programs, and seminars on GMP, GHP, HACCP, and emerging technologies.
  • To disseminate industry-relevant data, research, and insights.
  • To encourage research and innovation in food processing.
  • To promote market research in India and globally.
  • To recognize excellence through awards, scholarships, and publications.
  • To strengthen collaboration between industry, government, academia, and international organizations.
  • Promote Indian food and food products globally.
