Zydus Wellness has officially expanded into the packaged foods segment with the launch of Sugar Free D’lite cookies, tapping into the growing demand for healthier snack options. The company has teamed up with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor as the brand ambassador for this new range. Known for its dominance in the sweetener category, where it holds a 95% market share, Zydus Wellness aims to bring its health-oriented approach to the packaged food space. Health consciousness among Indian consumers is rapidly increasing, and with it, the demand for healthy yet tasty packaged foods, said Mr. Tarun Arora, CEO, Zydus Wellness. The new product line, he added, is designed to meet these evolving consumer preferences. This move marks Zydus Wellness’s commitment to broadening its portfolio with products catering to wellness-focused consumers.
